Yoga is more than movement
Yoga is often introduced as exercise. In the traditions it comes from, it is better described as a disciplined path — a way of turning what is understood into something that is actually done, day after day.
VedIQ Yoga teaches the physical practice alongside the ideas that shaped it: attention, restraint, breath, ethics and self-study. You are never asked to accept a belief system. You are invited to understand what you are doing, and why.
The relationship between Veda as knowledge and Yoga as its practice is discussed at length by Vamadeva Shastri (Dr. David Frawley) of the American Institute of Vedic Studies. That interpretation is his, not ours — read how we approach it.
